My Football Journey:

I started playing football at 15 years old. The reason why I started was because I saw many videos about football on youtube. After I found out that there was a team in my own city I did not hesitate any second to sign up for the team. Football wasn’t the first sport I did though. Before football I played basketball, did karate, swimming and soccer, I enjoyed my time at those activities, but none of them really attracted me the way that football did. In my first year there were many rookies, many strong and athletic rookies. We came to practice to compete against each other, we all wanted to be best. Thats why we dominated that season (8-1). I got injured in the off-season during practice. A back injury that kept me off the field for 5 months. It was that injury that caused me the come back stronger and made me reach for the top. Recovery was hard but it made me feel like I could take on any challenge. I came back stronger then ever but I never had enough. Every day I’m looking for ways to get better, faster, smarter. I’m investing a lot of time and effort to improve my game. Talking to coaches, searching on the web, attending international camps, joining the national team, are all steps I took to be the player I am today, and I know for sure that I can grow a whole lot more. I’m a coachable, confident and competitive player with a big dream.

Offseason 2016-2017

Off-season is a very serious, intense period where I spend a lot of time, effort and money on. I think its important for an athlete to have a strong, adjustable offseason program. Every off-season should differ a bit so you make sure the results keep improving. Last off-season I followed a program on my own. A football program wich I found on the internet.

This off season I decided to take it to the next level and started working with a trainer. I got invited for a camp in Darmstad, Germany where I met coach Mele. Coach Mele works with some of the greatest young players of Germany. At first I was a bit sceptic about all of it, but as time passes you see more and more results and you start to realize that the program is truly amazing. I ended the season with a few injuries that needed to recover, and the program is personalized for each player to achieve its goals. I recovered very well from a dislocated shoulder, and I’m getting stronger every week. In a couple of days I’m heading to Munich to work with coach Mele and a couple of his guys to compete and improve on different aspects of the game. I think its going to be great time working with those great young and talented athletes. A intense couple of days working various of things. A combine prep day is scheduled, and some field workouts in combination with gym sessions. Its about getting better in any way possible

Signed with Marburg Mercenaries

After a long recruiting period and a couple training camps all over Europe I have decided to sign with the GFL1 Marburg Mercenaries. I am very grateful to have this opportunity and will make the most of it.
